What is LuckyDog Tennis & Pickleball All About?

Looking for a way to be involved in an activity that provides great exercise combined with a fun environment? Consider joining the countless others who have chosen to learn and play the nation’s fastest growing sport…pickleball! With its newly refinished and lighted tennis and pickleball courts, the LuckydogTennis and Pickleball Club, established in 2014 and located in the Lynnwoode, North Wilkesboro subdivision, is the perfect venue for this sport. Offering beginners’ classes for both juniors and adults with a PTR/PPR official instructor–and classes for those who wish to improve their skills—and flexible game-playing schedules, you will quickly find your place in the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.

In addition to classes and regular game play, there are sponsored events, fundraising tournaments and social events. Past participation has included the annual “Rally for the Cure” and “PAWS for the Cause” which have helped raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Research; raising funds for the Yadkin River Greenway (previous year’s tournament raised $7,000); raising funds for Samaritan’s Kitchen; and the annual tournament “Dinking for our Military” which honors our veterans and raises funds for the Blue Star Mothers for Ashe, Watauga and Wilkes. This organization provides support to our active military, and, in our initial tournament in November of 2022, $11,000 was raised. The next “Dinking for our Military” tournament is scheduled for November 2, 2024.
