Looking for a way to be involved in an activity that provides great exercise combined with a fun environment? Consider joining the countless others who have chosen to learn and play the nation’s fastest growing sport…pickleball! With its newly refinished and lighted tennis and pickleball courts, the Luckydog Tennis and Pickleball Club, established in 2014 and located in the Lynnwoode, North Wilkesboro subdivision, is the perfect venue for this sport. Offering beginners’ classes for both juniors and adults with a PTR/PPR official instructor—and classes for those who wish to improve their skills—and flexible game-playing schedules, you will quickly find your place in the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.

In addition to classes and regular game play, there are sponsored events, fundraising tournaments and social events. Past participation has included the annual “Rally for the Cure” and “PAWS for the Cause,” which have helped raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Research; raising funds for the Yadkin River Greenway, with a previous tournament raising $7,000; and raising funds for Samaritan’s Kitchen.
